Dear friends,

We thank God for your lives.  We appreciate your friendship and your desire to support us in ministering to others.  The Lord who gives life to his people wishes above all things that you may be in good health and prosper in all things just as your souls prosper.

By the grace of God, we are doing great, trusting in the Lord and depending on him so that we can serve him better in the lives of others.

In February last year, we were visited by Morris and Sandy Anderson.  They stayed in our home for two weeks.  It was a great privilege to us to have them.

Morris had three preaching appointments and a teaching service in churches which form part of the Calvary Baptist Family of Churches.

One of the churches was a typical rural community church.  The church building is constructed with palm fronts or branches.  This rural community church forms part of the Mission Churches that comes directly under Ebow’s supervision.

Ebow also took Morris to one of the Mission churches located at about 48 miles from Accra.  This Mission church is in a rural town that is cited on a ridge.  Here, Ebow hired a Cinema van operated by a Missionary group called the ‘Challenge Bookshop’ to show a Christian movie to the Community.  The purpose of the film show was to win souls to strengthen the Calvary Baptist Mission Church which was located in that rural town.  The said church is called Calvary Mission – Aburi.  Forty souls were won for the Lord that night.

One of Ebow’s goals is to strengthen rural churches through the film Ministry.  Ebow is grateful to Calvary Church, St. Paul, St Paul for acquiring for him a projector, a DVD and a VCR which are vital equipments for the film ministry. However, these items in themselves are not complete in showing a film in the open.  So we have to acquired such additional equipments like outdoor speakers, a screen, microphone lightening systems, outdoor extension chords and an amplifier.  With assistance from Global Horizon, some friends and savings that we had in the U.S, it was possible to purchase a screen from the U.S and air freighted it to Accra.  The one important equipment which we lack is a generator.  The film show Ministry would be more successful if we own a generator.  A good generator for our purpose cost eight hundred dollars ($800.00)  It is not easy to raise this money here.  We are therefore appealing to friends who could assist in this regard to come to our help.  We trust that Global Horizon who have for the past years been receiving funds for us can receive your donations towards the purchase of a generator and give you the necessary papers to cover your tax exemption. Their address is as follows:  Global Horizons Inc,  13750 Skiles Lane,  St Paul  MN 55112

Ebow’s assignment as a Mission Ministry Director with Calvary Baptist Church makes it possible for him to travel to several mission churches in a month to organize evangelistic programs, meetings and conferences for pastors and church leaders.

In November 2007, Naa Abashie visited Ghana.  She joined us in doing ministry in some of the rural churches.  Through her, the congregation of Central Baptist Church St Paul MN donated money to Ebow for a bicycle to help him do ministry.  He bought the bicycle and gave it to one of our rural churches called Congo Fellowship. In December 2007 Ebow and another mission Pastor baptized eighty baptismal candidates at the Calvary Baptist Accra auditorium.

Cecilia works along side Ebow in his Missionary activities.  She has been training women groups and young ladies. This is a current picture of the Paitoo family.  Joshua, who will be eight years old on 6th April, 2008 is in Grade 2.  Joy who is in the nursery will be four years on 9th May, 2008.

Pray for us as we pray for you.  Be instant in season and out of season for we do not know when the Master is coming.

God richly bless you

Ebow and Cecilia.
