Ministry in 2007 included training and outfitting teams of church clowns for use in outreach and ministry in Russia, Latvia, Poland and Mexico. This is a significant increase since we’ve started in 2002.

Poland Clown Ministries led by Sidney Teske offers training and outfitting for short term mission teams from churches in the United States.  The teams receive training in clowning performance as a means of outreach and evangelism around the world.  This year Mr. Teske trained and traveled with teams that went to Russia, Latvia, Poland and Mexico.  Clowning is a vehicle for education, entertainment and inter-cultural learning.  Mr. Teske and his wife Karen have also visited Poland, Latvia, and Russia to provide workshops for local churches, summer camps, and associations of Sunday school teachers, to provide clown materials and training to launch their own local ministries of evangelism and cross-cultural reconciliation.
