GHI realizes the importance of having references from respected people outside of the organization. Therefore, GHI lists the following individuals as external references who know the organization well and give informed personal observations. They include:

Cooperating Organizations

GHI works closely with (but is not a member of or formally connected to) the following organizations:

• Minnesota Baptist General Conference, St. Paul, Minnesota.
  GHI board members have served on MBGC boards.
  
  
• Baptist General Conference USA, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
  GHI board members have served on BGC USA boards and also supported some BGC USA field mission projects.
  
  
• Bethel Theological Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota.
  GHI has given the seminary multi-cultural educational materials, financially supported some international students and provided special speakers.
  
  
• Ndu Baptist Theological Seminary, Ndu, Cameroon.
  Ndu seminary president and some faculty have studied racial and ethnic reconciliation and African theology with GHI board members. Currently, the collaboration involves GHI fundraising to support Ndu faculty who seek to study at Bethel. In 2000, GHI’s president and executive director will teach special courses at Ndu.
  
  
• Good News Theological College and Seminary, Accra, Ghana.
  GHI founded the North American Committee to raise money to support faculty and campus development. To date, approximately $150,000 has been raised.
  
  
• Calvary Baptist Church, St. Paul, Minnesota.
  Calvary helped GHI raise money for Good News Theological College and Seminary and also sent books and library personnel to improve the seminary library and its circulation system.
  
  
• Hope Christian Ministries, Nairobi, Kenya.
  This ministry partners with GHI to support a church planting project among indigenous people in Kenya, a children’s ministry and the ongoing education of local church pastor Tom Chore.
