Intune Ministries

Outreach in Fiji: Streets, Prison, & Recovery

Our Story

Nathan and SharaLee Ward founded Intune Ministries with a shared desire to serve in ministry.

Nathan's story began long before Intune Ministries. After struggling with methamphetamine addiction, he entered Adult & Teen Challenge, where he experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Through the love, discipleship, and support he received, his life was completely restored. That experience ignited a lifelong passion to help others discover the same hope and freedom. It was while serving at Teen Challenge that Nathan met Shirley, and together they sensed God's call to serve others. God faithfully prepared them for ministry over the next 20 years.

In 2025, He opened the door for them to travel to Fiji, where they witnessed opportunities to strengthen existing ministries and encourage local leaders

Today, Intune Ministries brings hope, restoration, and discipleship to those facing addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and brokenness. The vision is to restore lives and equip others to become agents of transformation within their own communities. Rather than creating dependency, they partner with trusted local ministries and leaders who are already faithfully serving the people of Fiji, helping expand their impact and strengthen their long-term ministry.

Mission: To harmonize with the heart of God.

Our Impact

Intune Ministries focuses on three strategic initiatives that equip individuals with skills, meet essential needs, and provide opportunities for spiritual growth:

The Streets: outreach for those living on the streets
The Prison: discipleship and theology training
The Recovery: expanding Teen Challenge Fiji

The Streets

Intune Ministries partners - outreach in the community

By partnering with a local couple, we provide outreach to people living on the streets in Fiji. We connect in the most basic way by offering a meal and other personal necessities.

Our goal is to expand to a shelter location where we can offer essential services from a hot shower to shelter and protection from cyclones that often hit this small island nation.

The Prison

In partnership with Impact International School of Ministry, we provide a Bible School in a Box to the Lautoka Correctional Facility.

Our goals are to train select correctional staff as Bible School leaders and offer inmates discipleship and the ability to earn a degree in theology. When they leave the correctional system, they will be equipped to embrace new opportunities and a future filled with hope.

The Recovery

Adult and Teen Challenge is a globally recognized name in the world of drug and alcohol recovery. We have connected with Teen Challenge Fiji to help them expand their reach through a comprehensive development plan that will allow them to serve more men, women, and families.

As we seek grant funding, please consider funding our grant writer as we endeavor to raise capital for upcoming builds.

Your donation provides outreach in Fiji to lift up people living on the streets, in prisons, and in recovery.
