New Ground Initiative
Faith-based outreach in the Philippines
Our Story
New Ground Initiative is a faith-based outreach in the Philippines serving homeless adults, children living on the streets, and displaced families. It addresses immediate survival needs, then moves people toward stability through discipline, work, and community.
The core belief is simple: charity without transformation continues a cycle of need; compassion paired with responsibility restores dignity.
Our Impact
A simple, faith-driven movement that helps believers serve people in need, build real relationships, and spread the mission to other communities. It focuses on consistent, hands-on outreach rather than one-time events.
The goal is to see lives changed both through practical help and genuine care over time.
The New Ground Initiative is directed by missionary Gene Cagas.
Primary Objectives
1. Assistance Program:
Offer regular support to poor and vulnerable families, especially children, in order to build real relationships.
2. Skills Training and Counseling Program:
Spend time with people and earn their trust through ongoing programs.
3. Christian Training for Volunteers:
Equip and mobilize believers in holistic outreach, serving in simple, practical ways.
4. Facilitate Missionary Work:
Expand, using our program as a model, allowing others to start the same kind of outreach in different locations and with different cultures.
Your donation provides missionary support for New Ground Initiative.
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
