What We Do
Our Mission Statement
GHI works with compassionate leaders to restore communities through humility, justice, and faith in God.
We serve to:
- provide hopeful, efficient administrative support to projects and ministries, and
- be a catalyst for racial reconciliation education and coaching.
Restoring the Kingdom
by Launching and Supporting Ministries
GHI serves as a fiscal sponsor for Christian mission projects and missionaries. Through fiscal sponsorship, individuals are able to quickly launch their mission project, without having to go through the formal process of forming a 501c3 while still gaining all the benefits of nonprofit status. In partnership with GHI, we manage the project's administrative tasks (bookkeeping, donation processing, legal filings, webpage, etc) and offer consultation and coaching. This allows project leaders more time to focus on lifting up the communities they desire to serve, and less time devoted to paperwork. You can learn more about fiscal sponsorship by reading our blog, What is a Fiscal Sponsor?
We seek leaders with a vision for restoring the kingdom. GHI recognizes cultural diversity and is passionate about mobilizing leaders who are engaging and selfless, pursuing reconciliation horizontally between people, God, and ideas. Through projects that provide interventions, development, and reconciliation, these leaders and projects seek to:
- validate the honor and dignity of all creation
- create environments and activities leading to reconciliation with chaos and dysfunction
- empower marginalized people to become all that God would have them become
Global Horizons Inc. Initiatives
Ubuntu Training - Racial Justice and Reconciliation
Global Horizons is committed to racial justice and reconciliation. We offer our Ubuntu Training workshops and guest speakers, locally in Minnesota, to provide knowledge, insights, and a place to create new realizations
The Knowledge Box
Our goal is to make technology accessible to areas that lack the resources or infrastructure for internet access and online educational materials. We provide Knowledge Box computing devices to schools, orphanages, churches, and social programs, in developing countries. These devices are easy to use and set up, making them ideal for short-term mission groups looking to make an impact.
