Ministry Impact
Jean heard about Jesus in DVBS and went to religious activities without knowing why. She did not really embrace God until she surrendered her life to follow Christ in 2013. She says, “I found direction and purpose in life. I overcame being an introvert to tell people about Jesus.” Jean now teaches at LHBC Christian Academy in San Remigio, Cebu, but also dreams of using her teaching gifts in places where people have never heard of Jesus—places with very few believers, no churches, and few missionaries.
Jean will introduce Buddhists to Jesus in Thailand.
In addition to studying basic Thai language & culture, Jean will be helping start and strengthen Thai churches by:
- Teaching Bible-infused conversational English to Thai youth and adults
- Tutoring kids after school
- Friendship evangelism
- Cell group meetings
- Outreach events & camps
- Discipling Thai believers
